In My Room - The Space of a Student

This photo series is inspired by Adrienne Salinger's iconic 1995 book 'In My Room: Teenagers in Their Bedrooms, which inspired Christopher Shannon’s S/S 15 collection consisting of oversized tees, windbreakers, sweats replete with cut-and-paste pockets and roughly collaged graphics. The original photo collection shows teenagers in the 90s inside their most personal space. For part of my university coursework, I recreated this series with students in their halls and student houses.
