Flames For Days

Asger Juel Larse - Thrasher - Angelos Frentzos

If you follow any models on social media, then you've probably noticed that their off-duty uniform this season gravitates towards the infamous Thrasher merchandise. Founded in the 1980s, this skateboarding magazine's tees and sweatshirts have gained mainstream popularity with high profile celebs over the past six months. Many critics wanted this trend to fade out by 2017, however they were the same people who thought chokers needed to die a week into that trend and likewise; this trend just keeps coming in from all directions. So with the use of Thrasher's classic fire logo, anything with flame appliques are gonna be smoking hot this season.

How To Style - CONCH CLOTHING (Winter Edition)

If you haven't already seen me raving on about/repping Conch Clothing on social media then literally, how have you avoided it I never shut up about them???
I met the owners, Josh and John, in Brighton two summers ago; three months after they created the brand in the heart of the city. Their t-shirts and brand style are extremely street-style/psychedelic, just think acid trip gifs meet fabric. They also have a newer range of more simple, 'basic stitches' that still channel their paper-plate guy logo.
After over a year and a half of adoring this brand, I decided to finally style three of their t-shirts in three different ways. Even though the brand itself is more aimed at guys, I wanted to show just how uni-sex they can be.

LOOK ONE - MOON UNIT

This was the first t-shirt I bought from Conch Clothing back in 2015. I love how the marbled grey looks and makes it perfect to match with any outfit. This pink duo pairing has been my go to lately as it's so easy to wear yet looks like you've spent hours getting ready in the morning. I bought this baby pink leather jacket from Zara last summer and it's been one of my favourite pieces to throw over any outfit since then. My heart literally skipped a beat when I found this vintage pink leather a-line skirt and knew that they these two were just meant to be together. I decide to give these pastel pieces an edgy twist with a pair of fishnets, some laceup platform boots and an alien purple lip. Another little detail I added were these bomb ass socks with some naked ladies on them which I got during my trip to Iceland #freethenipple

LOOK TWO - SECOND BASE

This second look is 'based' (lmao puns) around this long-sleeved black and white baseball t-shirt. I kept with a monochrome theme and wore it with this city skyline bodycon skirt as it gives and nice upward gradient. Ya girls done a 'dad' and worn socks and sandals, I know. Even though some people deem this a fashion crime, you can get away with it with the right colours and textures. I wore a pair of black knee highs over some fishnets with some thick strap chunky sandals to keep it streamline and elevated. To add some colour I wore my burgundy coat to switch up the monochromatic palette.

LOOK THREE - GRUNGE IT BABY

My third and final look is a little bit soft-grungy and a little bit punk. I wore this oversized plain white t-shirt with the paper plate logo as a dress because 5"2 problems. I wore it with some black tights and a black beaded choker. As this outfit on its own is a little plain James, I spruced it up with a shit load of prints. I threw on my faux fur leopard print coat to add loads of warmth and a pair of snakeskin booties. I love this clash of print as its not too overbearing on the eye and is perfect for on the go.
